Since the recommendations are such an important piece of the self-study, it is incredibly important to have the campus community actively involved and engaged. Please take time to read and comment:
Welcome to the Syracuse University Middle States Self-Study Draft Report and Feedback Site.
Welcome to the Syracuse University Middle States Self-Study Draft Report and Feedback Site.
This site is organized according to chapters. We encourage you to read the entire chapter before making a comment about that chapter.
Although it may be tempting to jump to the end of a chapter to see areas of continuous improvement for that standard, it is important to read from the beginning to end of the chapter because the information contained in the overview as well as in the areas of strength are important to understanding the areas where the University is continuing to improve.
Some of the evidence is not yet available for public review, but as it is ready we will upload it. Note however, that the teams who wrote each section have reviewed the evidence thoroughly.
After reading each section, please give us feedback by clicking the link provided.
Our co-chair team will be reviewing feedback and creating a log of the comments and then sharing answers to questions and concerns raised. You may want to review that log before posting your questions or comments as well.
Our goal is to use this feedback period between April 18 and September 22 as an opportunity to engage the University Community in peer review of the draft report and to generate ideas on how we can gain momentum in making continuous improvements at Syracuse. This draft self-study report will be revised based on the University Community’s feedback and then submitted to Middle States Commission in December in preparation for our Spring 2018 site visit.
If you have any questions, feel free to email us at middlestates@syr.edu.
Thank you for participating in this peer review period.
